What is StockVM.com about?
StockVM is an online virtual stock investment game site, in which you can buy/sell virtual stocks to make profit. It's a simplified securities market for user to practise their investment skill and also have fun.
Is this game a real investment?
NO. StockVM is just an online investment game site. All stocks in the market are dummy, although you may make real money by buying/selling these stocks. The game is designed only for you to practise, and you should not spend money in the game more than you can afford.
So, it's just a game, but can I make money in this game?
Sure! at StockVM you can buy/sell stocks at any time. If you take good chance to trade, you can then make money. Say, you buy 100 share of stock A at price $1 for each share and sell them at price $2, you earn $100!
Do I have to deposit to play the game?
There is FREE $1 sign bonus for each new member to start the investment venture. although this bonus is not withdrawable, you can always withdraw the profit of the investment using this sign bonus at any time and get paid instantly. Of course, you can deposit more money and make more money by investing in our virtual market.
Can I register more than one account to get this free $1?
No. Everyone can only have one account with StockVM.com
Is there any transaction fee?
As same as those real stock market, there is no fee for buying stock, while for each sell out transaction, 1% of the total transaction amount is charged as commission.
Do I earn commission if I recommend my friends to this game?
Yes. You earn 0.2% commission of each sell out transaction made by your referrals for life time, and there is no limitation how many transactions one can made in a day. You may find your referral commission record in your member area.
Is it possible the price of stock fall to 0?
Same as the real market, it is possible at StockVM that one stock fall greatly. As the security messure, we will suspend the stock when its price is lower than $0.05. There will be a warning when you try to buy a stock which is dangerous.
Can I modify my account information, say my Liberty Reserve account?
Since our system support fully automated payment on request, for security concern, we don't allow member to change their LR account # after registration. If you by mistake registered with a wrong LR account, we suggest you re-sign a new account with the correct LR account and inform us to remove the mistaked one.

What is about the trade rules, say, can I buy and sell the same stock in the same day?
Yes, you can. We operate the "T+0" trading rule, which means that you can buy/sell any stock at any time without any limitations.
How often the stock price is updated?
The price of the stock is updated around every 15 minutes, and the market is opening 24/7
I have bought stock A, Why is my stock up/down ?
We employ a complicated algorithm to calculate the stock price, according to current price, shares is user hands, current market trend, and etc.

What payment system is StockVM using?
StockVM supports Liberty Reserve online payment system. We may consider more payment processors in near future. Contact us if you have any suggestions.
Can I deposit/withdraw using Paypal system?
No, we don't support Paypal system as the moment due to security and system considerations.
Is my deposit/withdraw request processed in real time?
Yes. We have a fully automated system based on Liberty Reserve to process your deposit/withdraw request in real time.
